A Registry Office Wedding in St John’s House, Warwick
At the beginning of November, as I was slowly coming down from my 2025 wedding season, I found a lovely email in my inbox, enquiring about a Registry Office Wedding in St John’s House, Warwick. I absolutely love intimate weddings, and registry office ceremonies have a special kind of charm. There is something beautifully simple about them, with the focus placed exactly where it should be: on two people choosing each other.
I met J & L at their home on a beautiful December day to take a few couple portraits and family photos before the sun went down. Their ceremony was planned for 5pm, which meant daylight would be very limited afterwards. The sun played a little game of hide and seek with us, but we were lucky enough to enjoy some gorgeous winter light. It allowed us to take relaxed, natural photos outdoors, with the backdrop of Leamington’s architecture.

The Ceremony
Once the couple and group photos were done, we made our way to St John’s House in Warwick for the ceremony. The bride was walked down the aisle by her dad, who gave her away with so much emotion that she couldn’t hold back her tears. If you know my work, you know how much I love these moments. They are quiet, deeply meaningful, and incredibly powerful.
The ceremony included three readings, delivered by the best man, the maid of honour, and the groom’s mother. After that, the couple exchanged their vows and wedding rings. Emotions ran high once again, and a few more happy tears appeared. As a future bride myself, I could not help but imagine how overwhelming that moment must feel. I’ll admit, my own vision went a little blurry behind the camera.
J & L exited the ceremony with the biggest smiles, and it reminded me exactly why I love what I do. Being a witness to such raw emotion, love, and connection is something I will never take for granted.
