Hi there, I’m Julie!
LA PHOTOGRAPHE DE L’AMOUR… AND A ROMANTIC AT HEART

Let me tell you a bit more about me! I first picked up a camera when I was 16. It was a Christmas gift from my dad, a Sony to be exact (still a Sony gal to this day), and I started photographing my friends as stealthily as I could. I wanted to capture their unfiltered joy and laughter; fleeting moments of happiness that would last forever.
As much as I wanted to make a career out of it, I decided to put the camera down temporarily as I was studying for a degree in Psychology in Nantes, France. When I graduated, I started travelling more and took the opportunity to take my camera back out – travelling to get gorgeous shots is a unique way to travel. I shot artsy and unconventional pictures, not just holiday memories. Being behind the lens again felt like visiting an old friend…
A friend of mine saw my work and asked me to shoot her wedding. Initially I didn’t think I’d be able to do it – I had never done that before! But being the perfectionist I am, I studied and researched the subject. Did I feel ready on the day? Sure, but I was very stressed! I wanted to give them the best I could. I really felt something click – I adored the experience. I was witnessing love and happiness from up close. I was capturing those fleeting moments, and with what I had learned I made them timeless.
From that day on, I worked on building my career around capturing love. It helps being an insufferable romantic…yes, that means I sometimes cry during emotional moments, well hidden behind my camera! What can I say…it’s the French in me!

What it tells you about how I work…
I find pleasure in photographing genuine emotions… So I’ll do everything in my power to let you experience said emotions! You will struggle to feel them if you’re stressed, uncomfortable or not confident, so I will help you plan your day/session, give you advice, and give you all the information you need so you can let go on the day!
I love it when my photography leads me to serendipitous moments: that’s how I ended up offering my bride who eloped in Lapland to warm her hands on my neck so I could use my hands to warm up her wrists!

My Mission
As a natural people pleaser, my mission is simple: I want you to feel your best – confident, comfortable, and truly happy. To achieve that, I create a relaxed space where you can be yourself, doing everything I can to ensure you feel at ease throughout the process.
In a world that often feels heavy and fast-paced, it’s easy to overlook the beauty in the here and now. That’s why I focus on capturing the moments that truly matter: the love, the connection, the rawness of our emotions. Whether in joy or hardship, I want my photos to bring light to your memories.
Getting to know you, hearing your story, and understanding what makes you you is a privilege I don’t take lightly. Through my photographs, I strive to capture your essence—those authentic moments that reflect who you are, so your memories are as true and meaningful as the moments themselves.

The little planets in my universe…
MY JOURNEY
Making it a business
Photography was a hobby, I mostly picked up the camera during my travels, and it took a few couples asking me to photograph their wedding to get me to give it a shot as a side hustle. I was living in Nantes, Loire Valley, France, back then.
After this first wedding season, I was hooked and determined to make it become a full time career.

Going Full Time
Covid made it difficult to go full-time before, but I took the leap as soon as I reasonably could. It allowed me to grow my business and get more weddings, more sessions, and set up things more professionally, creating a very curated experience for my clients.
Moving to Albi, South of France
Life led me to move to Albi, a little town near Toulouse. It was a bit too rural for my taste (I am a city girl after all) so I rapidly knew it was a stop rather than a place for me to make a home.
Deciding to give the UK a shot
I spent my whole life dreaming about moving to an english speaking country. I left Albi for Lyon, a larger French city, in May… But met my British partner a few months later.
My Best Friend was already living in London, nothing was holding me back… I decided to give it a shot!

Officially moving to the UK
Getting a Visa was quite the process, but we got there in the end! I moved in Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, with my now Civil Partner, and started creating a home here.
I still do a lot of back and forth to photograph wedding in France, when I’m not travelling for a destination wedding in Italy or an elopement in Finland!
