My Work
I live in Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, UK. For sessions, I work in my area, in the West Midlands and London. As far as weddings are concerned, I travel a lot! As a French National residing in the UK, I am allowed and insured to work both in the UK and in the Schengen area.
I would describe my work as genuine, joyful, personal, authentic, and artistic. I do my best to capture my clients real emotions, and I give them prompts to help them feel more at ease to be themselves. My edit style is warm, contrasted, but still true-to-life colors.
I don’t… yet! I would really love to have one, and I’m working towards it. I’ll be sure to let you know when I do!
Photography and Videography can sound similar, but they are actually very different! I offer photography services only.
I do! All my galleries come with an online store where you can order prints from UK-based professional labs. There are different products and sizes available. My sessions packages come with a store credit, and my wedding packages come with a wooden box and ten 4×6″ prints.
As soon as possible! As far as weddings are concerned, you should at least have booked your venue before contacting me, so you have a set place and date to give me. For sessions, the sooner you contact me, the better I can ensure availability outside of traditional office hours.
My Gear
I use professional Sony cameras alongside GM Sony prime lenses. I work with 35mm, 50mm and 85mm lenses, allowing me to cover every situations during wedding and sessions. I use Godox flashes for wedding receptions.
I always store photos in two separate places, so if one device fails for any reason, there’s a copy somewhere else. Even while I’m photographing, my camera saves photos on two SD cards at once.
Vocabulary
Lifestyle Photography is a term to describe photography of the everyday life. Basically, it means that we are capturing genuine moments of daily life, but in a professional and artistic way. For example, if you like baking with your kids, a lifestyle photographer can capture this moment for you. It’s a reflection of your real-life, more than posed portraits.
A Day After session is a couple photoshoot after the wedding day where you put your wedding attire back on, and have fun with your photos in a way you wouldn’t have on the wedding day for fear of damaging the dress before the reception. It can mean just being able to sit on a bench, or going for a swim with it : you decide!
An Engagement Session is a couple photoshoot before the wedding. It’s the perfect moment to get better acquainted with your photographer, and warm up to the idea of being photographed. It’s a good option if you’re camera shy. You can also use the photos to announce your wedding, for your save-the-dates for example.
Posed Newborn Photography is a photoshoot where a baby is most of the time wrapped in fabric and posed, sometimes with props, in a studio. I do not offer this type of service, since I am a Lifestyle Photographer : my newborn photography is oriented towards the relationship between the parents and the baby.
Other
If we’re talking about a session, there are two possibilities: either we postpone the session to another day, or we embrace the rain. Bad weather can actually look great in photos – stormy skies look more dramatic than a blue sky, and rain with a transparent umbrella give out a very romantic vibe. However, for weddings, we have no other choice than embracing it and finding alternative solutions.
A family photoshoot can be a bit stressful, for the parents and the children. However, we can work around it. Because I want to have photos of natural and authentic moments, a photoshoot isn’t about posing, especially when children are involved. We talk beforehand about things your children like to do, their favorite books, their favorite toys, and we plan activities to do during the sessions.
Love is love, and it has no gender, and no colors either. I photograph families, couples, newborns, and pregnant women, because they illustrate the different natures of love, and I am a romantic at heart. In my opinion, nothing should come in the way of love.
It hugely depends on the workload of the moment. During peak season, when the editing queue is at its worse, it can take up to 12 weeks for weddings – but you will have sneak peeks within one week so the wait doesn’t seem as bad! For sessions, it can take up to 6 weeks.
